Summary

A high‑quality MagSafe 3‑in‑1 charger that delivers fast charging for iPhone and Apple Watch, stable alignment, and a sleek design. It’s convenient and compact but pricey and a bit heavy for on‑the‑go users.

Belkin BoostCharge Pro Review

Belkin has engineered an outstanding charging device in the Belkin BoostCharge Pro. It’s great for desktops and bedsides, and although the box suggested it’s easy to travel with, its weight suggests otherwise, especially when compared to other solutions like the Mophie 3-in-1 Travel Charger with MagSafe.

That said, the engineering quality of the Belkin MagSafe 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad is very good, and is backed by a 2-year warrant and an equipment warranty of up to $2,500.

Belkin BoostCharge Pro

What we like

Pros

  • Fast and reliable MagSafe alignment and secure hold
  • Supports fast Apple Watch Series 7/8/9 charging (up to 33% faster)
  • All‑in‑one three‑device charging pad (iPhone, Watch, AirPods)
  • Premium build quality and stable, weighted design
  • Compact for travel and minimal desktop footprint

The fast and reliable MagSafe alignment keeps the iPhone firmly in place—with magnets calibrated for iPhone 12 and newer models—preventing wobble even during taps or vibrations. Users report that the phone stays rock steady, much more so than on competing units. Belkin officially supports up to 15 W fast charging to MagSafe‑compatible devices, delivering near‑optimal speeds for recent iPhones.

Support for fast Apple Watch charging (Series 7, 8, or 9) delivers up to 33 % faster charge from 0 to 80 % in roughly 45 minutes, using the magnetic charging puck that’s built into the pad. Belkin’s own testing showed this faster charge capability for Series 7 watches; older models still charge at standard pace. With a bundled 40 W power supply and two‑year warranty plus up to $2,500 connected‑equipment coverage, you’re well insured on charge performance and safety.

All three modules—MagSafe iPhone pad, Watch puck, and a Qi pad in the middle—can power devices simultaneously. iPhones, AirPods or Android phones can share the Qi pad if not using it for AirPods. This consolidation simplifies cable clutter and charges three Apple essentials in one footprint, with clean design aesthetic and chrome accent trims on a soft‑touch surface.

The Belkin BoostCharge Pro build quality feels premium: weighted at approximately 476 g (16.8 oz), the soft‑touch surface and solid heft keep it anchored in place. It looks and feels like an Apple accessory, with minimal flex and a high‑end finish.

Despite its triple‑device support, the pad is relatively sleek: about 9.3” long, 3.4” wide, and 0.835” high, and lay‑flat design makes it manageable for travel (although weighty compared to other options) or nightstand use without looking obtrusive.

Belkin has good sustainability cred, though they make no specific claims on this product. It does arrive in plastic‑free packaging.

What could be improved

Cons

  • Relatively expensive vs single‑device chargers
  • Heavy and bulky for frequent travel use
  • Includes barrel‑jack power adapter instead of USB‑C

At around $150, depending on the retailer (US$149.99 on Belkin, often discounted on Amazon), it’s expensive compared to single-device MagSafe chargers or simpler stands. While bundled fast charging and watch support justify much of the cost, some users may feel it’s overpriced, even if the the triple‑device capability appeals to them.

While marketed as compact and portable, the nearly half‑kilogram (over a pound) weight and rigid form factor make the Belkin BoostCharge Pro inconvenient for frequent travel. While its not actually too heavy to slip into standard carry bags or backpack compartments, its design is better suited for a desk or bedside than mobile use.

Belkin ships the unit with a barrel‑plug 40 W power brick, not USB‑C cable and GaN power block. Belkin needs to switch to USB-C input for universal compatibility, more flexibility (in a pinch, the power supply and cable could also charge a laptop or tablet), and inexpensive and accessible cable replacement.

Belkin BoostCharge Pro: The bottom line

Belkin MagSafe 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad is a premium three‑device MagSafe charging pad that delivers fast and solid performance for iPhone and the latest Apple Watch models. High build quality, secure magnetic hold, and streamlined charging come at a premium. Though billed for home or travel, lighter travel options are more appealing. Ideal for users who want a tidy Apple‑centric charging station—less so for those after ultra‑light travel gear or a bargain.
