Casetify Iron Man Kit: Casetify Goes All in with Marvel’s Iron Man

March 20, 2024 by Daniel W. Rasmus Leave a Comment

Casetify Iron Man Kit Review

Case and accessory maker Casetify has gone all in on Marvel’s Iron Man. The company’s new range of kit covers all things Apple, and offers up a few more egalitarian devices, along with cases for Samsung phones.

Casetify Iron Man Kit: Iron Man AirPod Pro charging helmet.
I am Iron Man

I have personally tried several of the items and found them all to have high-quality components, from plastics to metal and nylon cabling. The power bank and snap holders adhere well via their magnets, and the artwork is all deeply ingrained in the cases and other products, ensuring that it will last much longer than those printed with cheap image transfer tech.

My samples just dip a metallic toe into the offers. For instance, the Iron Man Hero Mask case that now protects my iPhone 13 Pro in an impact case also comes in several other case styles, including ultra impact, though some styles don’t include MagSafe compatibility. Newer phones, like the iPhone 15 Pro, move up from four options to seven, including the Ultra Bounce with MagSafe shown in the accompanying illustration.

The coolest item on the list, and the most unique, is the AirPods Pro charging helmet. I did not evaluate this item, as I do not own AirPod Pros, but it looks like sculptural technology that any Marvel fan would be proud to display and use. It deserves more than being shelved as a mint-in-box collectible.

Some of the products are available through the Amazon Casetify Store. All products are available on Casetify’s site.

The list of Iron Man-themed products includes:

  • iPhone cases
  • Galaxy S24 cases
  • Galaxy Z Flip5 cases
  • AirPod cases
  • Qi charging pads
  • PowerThruâ„¢ Power Banks
  • iPad cases
  • MacBook cases
  • AirTag Holders
  • Charging Stand
  • Snappy Grips

Prices range from $122 for the charging helmet to $38 for the Snappyâ„¢ Grip stand. Phone cases start at $72. Ultra Bounce cases run $112. iPad Pro 12.9-inch case costs $82.

Casetify offers various styles for each item, from masks to arc reactors. Not all designs are available for all products. The following gallery illustrates the basic design choices.

The following slide show illustrates each of the products in the arc reactor design to provide a perspective on the design continuity for those looking to acquire a consistent design collection. Personally, I think mixing and matching is cooler.

What can be improved

My only suggestion for the Casetify designs would be to deliver iPad cases with covers and pen slots, as they did with their Spider-Man series. On the environmental front, I would like to see Casetify adopt a more sustainable packaging design. They still use too much plastic sheeting to expose products in their boxes, and glued-on foam and blister packs to secure them, which makes the boxes hard to recycle.

And Spider-Man Too!

As noted in our 2024 holiday gift guide, Casetify also sells Spider-Man cases and accessories. The Spider-Man accessories go beyond what is available for Iron Man. Additional Spider-Man accessories include:

  • Rope and Chain Cross-body Straps
  • Laptop Sleeves
  • AirPod Pro earcup covers

The Iron Man and Spider-Man licensed products can be used to enhance cosplay, demonstrate fandom, or act as a nice gift for any Marvel fan be they friend or family member.
