The $29.99 Zagg Magnetic Ring Snap 360 attaches magnetically to iPhones and other MagSafe-compatible devices. I put a magnetic ring on an old Samsung Tab S7, and the Zagg Magnetic Ring Snap 360 proved the perfect stand for the 7-inch tablet. It’s intended for phones, but the sturdy build and rubber footing keep devices stable, even during minor turbulence.
My favorite application is iPhone content consumption, usually something to do with angry shakes, cartoon mice or other characters when being tired requires a distraction in a busy restaurant. The kickstand is the perfect going-out accessory. It attaches to the phone, so it’s one less thing to remember when going out, and it’s not likely to get lost on a table filled with half-eaten grilled cheese sandwiches and a carpet of French fries.
I wouldn’t dangle my phone over the Grand Canyon to demonstrate the power of the embedded magnet, but I don’t fear for my phone falling to the ground during regular use. Dislodging the magnet requires a pretty violent shake. The Ring Snap 360 worked with the magnetic cases in my current arsenal, including those from Zagg, Torras and Casetify.
