The Brave New World of Enterprise Collaboration

A linked in post titled:  Sprouting Reads #1: The Brave New World of Enterprise Collaboration, picked up ideas from the new Serious Insights report, “Ten Innovations That Should Drive Collaboration Technology.”

If swimming down the stream-view of 21st century post-normal corporation leaves you gasping for the fresh breath of air provided by the panoramic view, you have to read the latest report from Daniel Rasmus from Serious Insights, who had recently authored a fantastic report (Hat Tip: Stan Garfield), focusing on the ten innovations that should drive collaboration technology.

What I really liked in his report is his clear focus on the embryonic trend that is expected to be a game-changer in the world of enterprise-collaboration: deconstructed work-experience.

Although this trend is clearly spelled out in three of the ten innovations that the author describes in detail, once you start connecting the dots between each of the individual innovations, be it, Bring-your-own-interface, or Contextualization, you begin to draw the contours of a fundamentally different way of looking at work. I’ll be revisiting this report again, as my emergent understanding about deconstructed work-experience acquires some shape.

Thank you to  for his thoughtful analysis.
